Deep Geothermal Energy
Deep geothermal energy is stored at depths of several hundred meters underground. Hydrothermal geothermal energy uses naturally occurring, hot deep ground water that is being tapped by a producing well and - after releasing its energy to a secondary circuit - re-injected into the ground.
